Hello, friend, and welcome to Solace Weyr, the dead-as-shit Dragonriders of Pern site which was recently liberated from invisible-thread hell. Nobody roleplays here any more, but this place is still pretty great. Feel free to stay a while and admire its quiet beauty.

WEYRLING TRAINING

This is the board for weyrling lessons and training. From the day they Impress until they graduate as full riders, bonded pairs must attend lessons to learn the ins and outs of dragonriding. Official, mandatory lessons will be posted periodically for each weyrling class.

WEYRLING BARRACKS

After Impressing a dragon, new rider-pairs move into another stone building some distance away from the candidate barracks. Much larger than the other building to accommodate the growing dragons, each room has a small living space for the rider and a larger area where their dragon lives. Rooms open into a large central hallway instead of directly to the outdoors.
