[/i] he looked pretty--- so to have this man, a harper, was it? Insult him--- Call him wrong for thinking he could look pretty---- it burned a fire in his belly. He was going to ignore it, he was better than a sad little harper but, then he insulted his mother and well--- 


He lost his words. Saw red. Torleif closed his hands into fists, breathed in--- and turned around and punched the other man square in the jaw. He could feel a knuckle crack in his fist, saw the man stumble back, red oozing from his mouth--- but felt no remorse. He moved to leap atop him while he was down, aiming another crack for the man's cheek, people erupting into squawks beside him. Whatever was going on in the hatching was lost to him, anger swallowing him up. He vaguely felt one or two hands on his shoulder, attempting to pull him--- and then more squealing, hands dropping as people yelped. -I was looking for you, Mine.- the voice hit his mind like a punch, his fists stopping by themselves as a small dragonet stepped up beside him, nudging his torso with his tail. -The blood made it helpful. But you still should have come to me.-

Torleif tore his gaze from the man beneath him, instead meeting the swirling rainbow eyes of a brown.

A'ham has always garnered the attention from others by his looks alone. Olive skinned and dark haired, he's not as dark as the standard Pern beauty but, he's darker than several of the other Weyr members and has seemed to only darken in the island conditions. His entire body is dappled in dark freckles, spots darker than his skin, and while his entire body is covered faintly these markings are especially prominent on his face and across his joints. During the Summer Season his skin blossoms in them even more than normal. His eyes are hooded and almost always are wide in rage or excitement. In color they are just as dark as his hair, which, speaking of, is near black in color and cascades down his back in waves. Sometimes his opts to tie it back, generally he doesn't.

His nose is long and hooked and he sports a small amount of fuz beneath it, the start of a mustache and beard which he keeps neatly trimmed. A'ham, build wise, is much more femine in shape than many of his other male Wery mates. His limbs are long and thin, body scrawny as if he never got enough nutrients growing up, and his hips have a slight curve to them. He's taller than most women, at least, and some men but, he's not the tallest or most imposing figure out there. In fact he's far from it in appearance. All his intimidation comes from his personality alone.

Amshulath is not a dragon to be trifled with. He stands out amongst his brethren in many ways but, the most frightening is perhaps how different his mindset is. He does not think or act like a perceive 'normal' Libertas bred dragon would act--- far from it. The Amaris blood that taints his heritage shines freely in this fact. He thinks and acts like an Amaris dragon, or at least how many people imagine a higher ranked dragon would act, nothing like how they imagine a brown would act. Amshulath is highly intelligent, startlingly so, and charismatic in such a way that he's learned what words to use and tones in his voice to have someone bend to his will. He never stops learning, scarily enough, and every interaction with the beast helps him learn to read you even more. Humans and dragons with often interaction with him will find themselves having to watch themselves when around him, carefully reading their own conversations and interactions after talking to him--- lest they find themselves falling prey to his manipulation.

And he his manipulative. Not in an ambitious sort, no, but in a way to make sure he always gets his way and what he wants. If others happen to get hurt along the way--- so be it. Amshulath is a dragon who cares not for others, save his rider and even then Tor'leif is not immune from the dragon's manipulation attempts--- he just knows when the brown is attempting them. That's not to say he is rebellious, however, or unruly--- Amshulath is smart enough to know how to keep his actions out of sight of the Metallics that litter the Weyr. He has enough self preservation to never directly disobey an order from them, or try to ignore their mental commands--- but he also doesn't have enough self preservation to not to attempt to sway newly hatched metallics on his side--- just in case. Best to have a few hens in the hen house in case anything goes wrong.

Amshulath, again, is not ambitious. He just wants what he wants--- call it a childish sense of self entitlement, a childish greedy quality--- but what he wants is everything. He's self centered enough to want it all and arrogant enough to think he's entitled to it all. He's the smartest dragon here, after all, so why shouldn't he have everything? And I do mean everything. He shows up to nearly every flight just because he thinks he deserves all the female dragons out there. And he's an awful sore loser.

Lastly he is demanding. Tyrannical in his demands and orders, he's almost never pleased and always cries for more or again or better. He doesn't want anything but the best, wants everything possible--- and tends to rule over his bonded and his bonded's family with an iron first. In general Amshulath is a toxic dragon. The kind you should do your best to avoid--- but Tor'leif thinks he's the loveliest thing he's ever seen. Even if he's a jerk. Just because they're bonded doesn't mean he can't see how awful he is at times.

Saioth is right between the range for a white and blue, a true sign of his chimeric nature. He's long for a white, looking stretched thin but, not quite full sized for a blue. He actually sports the same measurements as his twin sister but, looking at the two, you wouldn't be able to tell. The two are far from identical in build. While Sialath is round and chubby, Saioth is thin and narrow with sharp edges all around. His headknobs are longer than average, just by a smidge, and stand out atop his skinny face. His muscles appear lacking, lean in appearance, so he's not the strongest of dragons.

His hide, however, is the true shining point of the chimeric. His base, unlike his sister, is a pale off white, identical in shade to the white on Sialath's hide. It's unmarred by scars or blemishes, pure in color save for the pale blue markings he sports--- a sign of his chimeric ranking. This blue starts on his backside and moves across his hindlegs, wings, and tail. There is no blending of colors in these markings, they much like the white half of his hide, are unmarred by any blemish. His front legs sport this blue, appearing like a lady holder's gloves, hitting his elbow before cutting off. His head is white in color save for a splurt of blue across it, much like a mask.

Lastly, on his chest, Saioth has a violet triangle spot, identical in appearance to one his twin bears.
