Solace Weyr is a non-canon Pern site that is getting ready for
it's half-Turn birthday. Taking place on the southern continent, the
story revolves around a group of radical-minded riders determined
to prevent secrets from the future and past from altering Pernese
life and customs.
New ranks are available both for creation and adoption alongside
traditional colours, including blacks, reds and irons in addition to
everything from green to bronze. Characters of all kinds are wanted!
An intricate plot is in play, with the recent murder of the Senior
Werywoman, with her final words pointing the finger at Solace's old
enemy, Southern. Lies, deceit, and murder await!
One of the Gold whers is nearing her Running time. Wher
Candidates are welcomed eagerly to the Weyr, as our night time
brethren hold an incredibly important role!
Contests are held regularly for the chance to win marks and other
prizes. Contests going on right now include an advertising contest, and
a writing contest that will be wrapping up on January 9th.
A Gather is coming up, starting the day after Christmas! With
a writing contest that provides easy marks, even new members will be
able to find some exciting buys at the Hold-based Gather!
